Warning Bricks were designed to meet the specifications of the Americans with Disabilities Act. There are small, circular protrusions on the top of the paver to warn visually impared individuals approaching an intersection or entry way.

The ADA encourages an increased emphasis on the planning and design of proposed crosswalk facilities to comply with federal regulations.

The responsibility of the proposed accessible facillities should be on the planners and designers of the projects. St. Vrain Block is dedicated to providing the warning bricks to the project designers to ensure the safety of disabled pedrestrians.

Sod Block is another specialty block product produced at St. Vrain Block. It is used in applications where surface soil needs to be stabilized. Our Sod Block is installed in the same manner as pavers.

They are also popular for use as pads under recreational vehicles or as fire lanes between buildings. The grass can grow up through the holes and blend in with surrounding grass but still be able to support the weight of a vehicle.

Systems created from sod block combine the favorable aspects of lightweight blankets and meshes such as porosity, flexibility, vegetation encouragement and habitat enhancement with non-erodible self-weight and the high tractive force resistance of a rigid lining.
